I don't get it too.. why do people stand it those queues and get beta products(like faulty batteries on Iphone 1.0 and now iphone 4 with the antenna problem). I just wait till the product is ironed out and then buy them. The social part of it is magnified by being first so you get: "My new Iphone 4 is awesome!!! I still can't get much use out of it on the awful AT&T network but it sure is pretty!!!
